For the last 48 years, Pilgrim Skating Arena has awarded scholarships to deserving, college-bound high school seniors and prep school students (boys and girls, skaters and non-skaters alike) through our merit-based scholarship program.  Among the attributes considered by the Scholarship Committee are a student’s leadership, scholarship, athleticism, artistic capabilities, overall achievements, citizenship and contributions to school and community. Most years there are over 250 students who request scholarship applications.

For an application to be considered for evaluation, the following CRITERIA must be met:

​

1) THE APPLICATION MUST BE PICKED UP BY THE APPLICANT AND DROPPED OFF BY THE APPLICANT, BY THE DEADLINE (applications are not available online or by email and may not be picked up or dropped off by the applicant’s parent or any other person)

 

2) THE APPLICATION MUST INCLUDE THE STUDENT’S OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT, TWO RECOMMENDATIONS AND BE SIGNED BY THE APPLICANT.

As of June, 2021, Pilgrim has given out 557 scholarships totaling over $2,042,500.00.
