Act 1, Scene 1 on Ice - Skating Week:

All classes will be taught by members of the Pilgrim Arena's Professional Staff.
July 6th-10th, 2009 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Welcome to the Summer 2009 Skating Week. This year, our program is designed to introduce the performance aspect to your skating experience. This week will all be about the drama! It will involve substantial ice time as well as off ice time; making costumes, designing props and scenery, and theatrical make up application.
On Ice: Skaters will have 3 hours per day on the ice. This includes putting together a production length group number. At the end of the week, they will perform their number for family and friends.
Off Ice: The skaters will design and construct props and scenery, learn to make and embellish simple costumes, and practice application of theatrical makeup.
Skating Week Fee: $450

What to wear?:
• Warm Clothing, mittens/gloves
• Helmet for beginners
• Change of clothes for off ice activities
